Hello!

We are Naomi & Frode.

Naomi is a Japanese girl who's spent her last decade working crazy hours in a busy advertising world.

Frode is a nerdy Norwegian who works as an IT professional, doing really cool stuff 'on-the-line'.

A few years ago, they both happened to be working in Sydney and one thing led to another, they got married.

Likes wine, travelling, SK-II & cats. 

Frode

Likes the ukulele, IT and travelling.


Until the Trip, was working for Fairfax Media, as part of the team that keeps sites like the Sydney Morning Herald up and running.
Current work-related interests (without making this sound like a CV) are deployment automation, AWS and config management.
As such, he has been using puppet and working with an in-house deployment solution.
During the Trip, he intends to expand his AWS knowledge, as the cloud is where IT is heading. 
And to explore the possibilities offered by saltstack.
